September 26, 2009 — Despite my still recovering stomach and the windy (and rainy) weather, we set out to go to Adamson University for the 3-hour (gasp!) long seminar. We were able to arrive, just in time for the 8:30 start in the morning. We did not begin right away though. We waited for one of our companion speakers before we began. Turned out that he realized that he left his USB (read: his slides) when he was half-way to his way to Adamson. He then had to go back and get his slides, and then travel again back to Adamson. By the time he got in, it was already 9:30 (and I already got to eat my breakfast, yey!). We then started with our talks in our respective classrooms. We’re covering Zembly, JavaFX and Linux. Another speaker that we did not know will be discussing SAP.
I opted to do a more in-depth discussion on (X)HTML, CSS, Javascript and the DOM before discussing the zembly proper. I was not able to finish my whole talk because of time constraints. Embarrassingly, I did not finish my slides. I only made slides for the (X)HTML part. The CSS part was discussed using the outline that I took down. That was all I got to discuss before I discussed the zembly part. Anyone from Adamson who’s reading it, you can study it extensively from the link I provided above. If you have any questions, just mail me.
